Our relationships make a difference.
Working with Brenda is like taking a course in how to engage most appropriately and effectively with different community groups. Her advising is based on a wide variety of amazing experiences, and I learn so much with every conversation.

Brenda has been our Nurse Pinning Guest of Honor/ Speaker for 2 consecutive years (2022 and 2023). The impact of Brenda's words resonated with our students and inspired them in many ways. Her approach is REAL, authentic, engaging, and empowering. Our diverse student population were especially inspired by Brenda's message. She is an impact speaker, I noted during her talk that the entire auditorium was smiling and nodding their heads "yes!!" at several junctures. I am grateful to know such an incredible human being. I would recommend Brenda, without reservation, for any of your healthcare planning, speaking, or consulting needs.

Brenda is Amazing! Working with her has been a privilege. Her creativity and ability to organize people to work towards achieving a goal has been inspiring. She is an excellent public speaker and knows how to motivate her team. Brenda seems like she knows what it takes to work hard and has been able to build something amazing from the ground up. I have learned a lot from her. The knowledge I've gained will continue to help me throughout my professional career.

I write to express my sincere gratitude for the invaluable assistance I received in structuring, planning, and growing my nonprofit organization. I couldn't have done it without the support and guidance provided by VDI Consulting. Their insights and suggestions were spot on, and their commitment to helping me achieve my goals was unwavering. I am so grateful for the time and effort VDI put into helping me succeed. Through my nonprofit, Improving Academic Medicine Underrepresentation (IAMU), I have been privileged to contribute positively to the academic goals of others and transform the landscape of healthcare. I am deeply appreciative of the opportunity to collaborate with such a distinguished organization that is committed to making an impact on people's lives. I look forward to continuing to work with VDI. Collectively, we have the potential to accomplish exceptional feats and create a lasting impression on the world. I extend my deepest gratitude to VDI for supporting and enhancing my vision of a non-profit.

I have gotten to know Brenda and her work through a health insurance literacy project, and it has been such a pleasure to work with her! It was amazing seeing this project come together at the direction of Brenda. This project, developed by Brenda, saw a need in the Haitian community for additional information about health coverage and tapped organizations working in this space to have a series of livestreams breaking down different topics related to health insurance in Massachusetts. I was blown away by the energy everyone brought to the project and the resources dedicated to making sure the community had access to accurate information.

Brenda is conscientious, experienced, and resourceful. I started working with Brenda in 2021 in preparation to launch the Black Autism Coalition (BAC). Her guidance and support helped us build the foundational infrastructure for the growth and success of our organization.

I've known Brenda for 2 years now, and I have to think that VDI Consulting, at it's core, stems from her highly successful work with Haitian-Creole speaking communities in and around Brockton and Boston. In my opinion, VDI is the culmination of Brenda's clinical expertise, leadership skill, lived experience, empathy and pure drive to support a population dealing with language and other access issues, acculturation, and a host of other determinants that would otherwise lead to the worst health outcomes.
VDI is involved with our colon cancer screening communication campaign. As we launch, we are excited about the campaign's ability to improve colon cancer awareness and early detection within the Haitian-Creole speaking neighborhoods in Boston through the involvement of VDI. We are fortunate to have Brenda as the 'face' of that campaign in those communities. Further, I suggest that other CBOs look to the VDI model to assess or improve their own service delivery approach.
I look forward to working with Brenda and VDI Consulting for years to come!
